Dr. Yusof Aziz was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of RIMCORP in October 2006. As CEO he will be responsible to strategise, formulate and implement the business development plans of RIMCORP so as to maximize tangible and intangible benefits for the MRB. Dr. Yusof obtained his GPRI from the University of North London and completed his MSc and PhD at the University of Technology, Loughborough, UK. He began his career at the RRIM in 1975. Throughout his tenure at RRIM/MRB, Dr. Yusof has conducted numerous R&D on raw rubber and rubber products. Among his notable innovations are SUMAR, RRIMCHEM, RCCB and MORTEX. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Yusof was the Director of Technology and Engineering Division, MRB.
Dr Wong Chaw Bin KMN (Senior Consultant)
Dr Wong is a soil scientist with 30 years R&D experience in the Malaysian Rubber Board. Having graduated with a B.Sc. in Applied Geology from University Malaya, he worked on projects related to soil survey mapping and classification for perennial crop establishment including rubber, oil palm and cocoa. He went on to complete his M.Sc. and Dr.Sc. in the area of soil science at the University of Ghent, Belgium and was appointed in August 2002 as the Senior Consultant in charge of the Technical Section of the Corporation. Dr. Wong is currently involved in the execution of RIMCORP's upstream related projects such as clonal planting material supply, rubber forest establishment, soil and foliar survey as well as latex exploitation techniques.
Y.M Raja Yahya Effendi bin Raja Yacob (Finance & Administration Manager)
Raja Yahya Effendi graduated with Bachelor in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and was appointed as Finance and Administration Manager for RIMCORP in April 2007. In 1997 he started his career as an Assistant Accountant with the Malaysian Rubber Board. Prior to joining RIMCORP he worked for six years as an Accountant in the insurance and services sectors. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Mr. Abdul Aziz bin Youp Kamaruddin (Marketing & Business Development Manager)
Mr. Abdul Aziz completed his BSc (Hons) in Polymer Science and Technology at the National College of Rubber Technology, London and his M. Eng. in Industrial Management at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. His main area of expertise is Quality Management (27 years). He worked as a Senior Management Accountant for four years with a Multinational Corporation. Before joining RIMCORP, he was the Head of the Product Testing and Quality Unit at the Malaysian Rubber Board.
